My local body shop used a Posca on my car to circle all the dings and scratches I wanted them to remove. He explained that it wipes right off with water. That was my introduction to Posca. :-)

I have the Uniball Signo Broad in several colors; I can attest to their quality. Worth every penny! I'm seriously considering the East Hill Tombstone brush pen, though. That's something new! I currently have a faber castell brush pen in white, which works in a pinch but isn't quite as opaque as I'd like.

Omg idk if any body can relate but there was this one point of time where I bought a lot of white markers and gel pens and didnt even know how to use it properly. I bought them because it was a big trend during that time, and it just felt soo good to be in my possession 😅🤣😍. But now it feels soo good to put them to good use. Thanks for the video @Jetpens. There is a white brush pen now?! Oh yes please! I'm very happy with my Posca after trying to find a tip less than 1.0 or 0.7 Sakura Gelly has different sizes, but they didn't get as opaque as I'd like. Angelic ran out too fast and was scratchy. And sadly, the Uniball Signo 3 pack of gold, silver, white is really expensive in some of the stores lately. I wanted something solid and long lasting, and the gold and white did not make it through the summer =( I ran into an art store booth at a convention Dealer's room and got to test and play with Posca pens and it was great. I just found some black paper (that was in an old Sakura Gelly Roll disc-bound notebook of all things XD I had them as a kid) and I might try drawing those cats. So awesome! Thank you for showing us all kinds of white pens. Most schools have whiteboards now, but I wish we had chalk markers way back when to avoid inhaling a dust cloud of chalk dust, yuck.

Perhaps try a magic eraser on your chalkboard- like the actual brand name “magic eraser”. But test a small spot to check for potential damage first of course!

I likely will use the Signo Broad since that is the one I already own. 👍🏼 I have used Broads & Angelics in various colors for many years, mostly for scrapbooking. [My only complaint is that the tip of the white becomes “gritty” pretty quickly, so I have to replace it well before it is out of ink.] After having watched this vid, I’m curious to try the Sakura Glaze. It might jump into my cart in my upcoming JetPens order. 💸

Have them all and use for different accents, or to do Calligraphy words, my fav. are ALL! LOL! I'm a huge fans of Gel Pens SIGNO & SAKURA ARE THE BEST and Paint Markers are Posca & love ARTISTRO PAINT PENS THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thank You great Demo and tmy next buying ones would be the Posca Paint Brush, i never seen anyones use these but they really called me so yes i will buy them because Posca is a terrific Brand for pens, & paint pens so i really need the Brush pens to completed my series ah, ah,ah!

Agreed. I recently did a video comparing these pens and expected more from the Gelly Roll. It didn’t write on top of pencil at all. It did well on markers though. I also love the Signo!

There are a few tricks to getting white pens to write again (I did a video on this recently): 1. Try tapping it on the paper (don’t shake it though, just a light tap) - this works surprisingly well, even though it sounds simple. 2. Use a scrap piece of paper to keep drawing until it gets moving. You can also draw on wood (I use a wooden spoon) and this can help. 3. If it’s still not working, try warming it up by putting it under the steam of a kettle or sitting it in a glass of warm water. Then wipe the nib. These tips all got my 4yo Signo working again. Best tip is to try to use them frequently so they don’t dry in the first place. Keep them moving and keep them out of direct sunlight if possible.

i have the sakura gelly roll and idk if im using it wrong but it always turns out pretty grey if i go over ink, and if i go over it too many times ill accidentally remove some of the white ink in the center, even if its already dried

When at your web site how do I find shorter than normal pens and mechanical pencils? I used the terms short and small but it didn't pick up what I'm looking for. Think something I can carry in a pocket, that's small. Prefer fine point. Do they make such a thing?
