I hope this doesn't sound too stupid, but what should the saliva situation within these 30 mins be? I got my first strips from target and it kinda smells like glue-ish. I have been swallowing my saliva, but I have some that I felt was in contact with the strip, so I spit it out. Should swallowing ING saliva during this time be safe? Not a silly question at all! It's safe to swallow your spit during that 30 minutes. However, it's also completely ok to spit it out, I know for some people can't stand the taste. Try to breath through your mouth to help dry your mouth a little when you have the strips on.

The time depends on the type of the strips you have - look at the box and it'll tell you how long to keep them on. And stick to once a day (at night works)

I think it’s the hydrogen peroxide foaming up. It’s this bubbling up action that probably lifts stains off teeth. Pls correct me if I’m wrong bc this is a guess lol

you didn't dry your teeth enough before putting on the strips, so the hydrogen peroxide interact with the saliva cause the foaming/bubbling effect. Can also be that you didn't put on the strips firm enough to your teeth, but that could be the result of you having excess saliva in your mouth. try to lay down after you put on the strips so your saliva flow backward instead of forward, pooling in your mouth

You should be able to eat / drink after using the strips. Make sure you wait 30 minutes after you eat to brush your teeth. I'd try not to eat right before putting the strips though

(I’m not a dentist.) On the Crest FAQs page, the company advises only using these before bed so that you don’t eat after using them. Apparently, teeth may be more porous and vulnerable (more prone to staining) immediately after using the strips.
