Hi, hello there, everyone and welcome to this live stream live tutorial on how to use your time effectively.
So really with the purpose of kind of creating group is to kind of give you guys kind of a place for support because I got to know, you know in these times of uncertainty.
There are really a lot of issues regarding, you know, whether my exams going to continue.
There are a lot of schools currently closed down a lot of public exams, you know in high school even universe a lot of people that aren't sure what things are going to go like in the future.
So here is kind of like a this community is kind of like a support group for asking questions we're going to have tutorials like this.
The second thing that I want to talk about is the units are within this group because the top 10 study Secrets is really forms the base of your study how to use it, which is really one of the topics that I will talk to you about today.
So, we kind of dive right into the guarding using your time effectively. So first of all, when I when I actually think about when you use your study time, first of all, you know, I kind of break it down into your duration your frequency and intensity of when you know, when someone actually comes down to study first of all, you know, I kind of ask them.
Are you using your time effectively in terms of how long are you studying?
You know, there are people that maybe study for 20 minutes or time they use or maybe 25 years time the use something called a Pomodoro Technique He that works for them.
Well, and I've heard students also say that they study for four hours at a you know, forcing themselves in the library for the whole afternoon and you know not taking breaks in between so that sort of problem comes with this is you know with my first tip on studying effectively is really understanding really your own Study efficiency curve. So when I actually think about this, you've got your productivity right here and you've got your amount of study over here and product yet the problem When you first start, you know, you kind of in this warm up that's what I call warm up zone.
So what a lot of people would prone to doing it, you know, they they will study for five minutes then they check their phone then they study for five within their own again.
So the productivity actually never reaches a peak where I called productivity zone.
So this kind of tends to be normally about 30 minute mark. So once they kind of get in the zone, right, so everything kind of falls apart you really focus on tasks hand.
You kind of reach This what I call the productivity zone so this is where you know a bulk of your work is really done.
You know, you are really really effective in terms of your probably two to three times more effective than when you're here, but then here comes the next problem as you study longer usually at around the one hour or you know, one and a half hour. This is where it kind of your productivity drop a lot of people kind of, you know reach this burnout phase. So the productivity is actually really low so it kind of dips. So the more time you put in the more ineffective You get so this is the burnout zone talked about a video as well.
