There is an Iron symbol, to make for easier ironing. This dries the laundry until it’s damp, so when you iron it’s easy to get rid of creases, and the heat of the iron finishes drying the laundry with the heat. Then there is Extra-Dry or Ready-To-Wear, usually with a sun icon or a cupboard and a plus icon, this just adds an extra 10 minutes onto the standard drying cycle just to ensure the laundry is completely bone dry. And then the standard drying or cupboard dry, with a cupboard icon, dries the laundry so it is ready to be put away.

This is a botched design. Touch screen / start failed three times, latest "repair" failed within a month (they glued had to glue a broken switch back on as engineer said they had so many problems they were "short of spares"), and now having to wait 3 weeks for an engineer to come out.

I think something is wrong with my machine. I just wrote a long question above. Basically I don’t know how to dry wet clothes, I want to separate wet wash so I only dry a few items whilst air drying the rest. I read the manual yet my model doesn’t have the same set up…I bought it end of 2020 I think….

How do I dry wet clothes only…it immediately starts running a wash. I chose the 59 minutes wash, once the wash finish, I took out some of the wash out to make the load lighter, than turn the dial to hot and chose cupboard dry function. I switch it on, water starts running out over the washing powders containers, I looked. This is the first time I tried drying it without washing together. I am buffed. The problem is I don’t know what the model number is, it does not say on the manual and I have to pay someone to pull the machine out to find the number. I bought the machine from Amazon…perhaps I could ask help from them….it’s nearly w years ago. Cheers

@@Gordon_Chen Yes It depends on the option you choose 3 steam, cupboard dry plus a 3rd. I wash, take out what I don’t want to dry out it to spin, that’s when you choose those options under settings. It takes roughly 3 hrs to be very dry. @ bumblebee is right it sounds like a wash but actually it’s drying.

Where does the water go into

The water goes into the detergent dispenser drawer, and then into the drum. So the water picks up the detergent on the way, and then washes it in the drum.
