In this video i go over the basics of vertical jigging. Ill target king mackerel and Spanish mackerel to demonstrate what i'm talking about. In the mix of the action i hook into a potential world record king that slips away. This is my technique that i use here on our Texas coast. water is fairly shallow so it does not allow for speed jigging but rather a more controlled pace which allows us to still get those explosives bites we all crave.
