Thanks for watching. If you are referring to third party firewalls, they work pretty much the same way and will disable the Windows one when installed.

I added the firewall rule for Ports 80 and 88, however my pc does not show it is listening on either of these ports and a port tester also comes back failed for both. I did follow the steps in the video but got the same result. any idea what i missed?

You need to have an application that is listening on those prts. Configure the app and then you'll see them.

Just adding the firewall rule doesn't make the server respond to the port. You also have to edit the application to listen to this port.
