Check out Blender Guru (the chair) or Derek Elliott, they are both really good. I still use Derek's method of creating a cube to take the correct measurements.

For some reason, the looptool won't produce a somewhat perfect circle like in your vid. It forms like a square edit: blender 4.1 here

Hey, you need to adjust the scale of the object to fix this. Apply scale transform (ctrl + a scale) and then try making it into a circle
