in the beginning of 2022 I managed to be better at being a morning person thanks to a lot of your tips in your videos, now I moved and I'm living alone for the first time and I'm also in a very anxious and not good mental health state right now. this caused my sleep schedule to completely fall apart, or maybe the other way round. I'm watching this at 1am, but I'll try hard to get it back to how it was.

I like how you kept your accountable each day and set goals no matter how simple they are I’ve been overworking myself because of course I have to pay rent pay my schooling but I also want to accomplish things like going to the gym every morning where not a lot of people their go to work and feel good and then go to school and be ready mentally to of course with taking breaks and eat something my bf he doesn’t like when I just sleep when I know I have to wake up and he has the same goals and I feel like we both want to wake up but because of me my motivation to be awake disappears which my depression and mood swings developed

I always wake up without an alarm. If I have an appointment or anything where I need to be on time, I set an alarm at the latest time possible, to be sure I don't oversleep. The interesting thing is that my body gets used to one time and I wake up at this time every day - even if I went to sleep later than normal (I just have to make sure that I'll go to sleep earlier the next day). I am a student and self-plan my time schedule, therefore it might be easier for me - however: I get up around 6 am every day! Our bodies are just incredible and tbh I feel so much better if I don't wake up with an alarm!

Step one: CHANGE JOBS!!! I work night shifts, and this makes my sleep schedule abnormal compared to the average person. Granted, I can sometimes get myself to fall asleep at 11 or 11:30 at the earliest, but that situation doesn't come around all that often.

Hi Maya ! I've been watching your videos for a while, even if I don't identify to everything (I'm an atheist and French), I always find them kind and motivating :) I was wondering if you were waking up at 5 every morning ? And, if so, how do you manage your social life around that schedule ? I'm trying to wake up earlier but as I have sometimes plans at night (with colleagues or friends mostly), it is really hard to go to sleep early... When you have such, do you still wake up at 5 ? If it happens, how do you manage sleep deprivation then ?

I might be a little too late to get a reply but I was just wondering… how do I continue my routine while I’m grieving? You see, I’ve been having a consistent routine for a few weeks because of you (which, thank you :)) but it was all thrown off course when my pet died. I wanna live my life properly for my bird but the grief has been difficult on my sleep. Any advice?

Awww 😢❤️. I feel you. I have a cockatiel that i had to rehome. If i can barely take care of myself, I’m not being fair to my baby. I was also financially not stable. It was a loss, though not like your situation. I cry for a while because i had to learn to live without hearing his voice and have the empty spaces where he used to be. I loved him so so much and miss him terribly. His smell, his presence, his voice, his silliness, his personality, his affection, and just all of him. He was my everything and was there through my ups and downs. All i can think of is to be kind to yourself and if you can, do less for a bit so that you have all the time and space you need to grieve. Make time for that so that you won’t be doing it late at night staying up and all. Just make sure you set the time for when you are done grieving, and be prepared to come back to a normal routine you’ll need. Make sure you have a well thought out plan and schedule for everything. Remember that your pet knows your affection and it was happy. Thank you for caring for an animal and giving it your best. My condolences and prayers to you 💐.
