How to wake up early WITHOUT being tired (re-train your body clock)

My entire life has changed since starting to wake up earlier - it's made me so much more productive, energised and motivated throughout each day, and given me my time back to work on my side hustles, health and happiness 🌅
But to wake up early and energised we need good quality sleep, which feels like its getting harder and harder to achieve.
This was one of my biggest roadblocks at the start of my journey.
So after hundreds of hours of researching and experimenting, I've distilled it all down into the 4 step 'REST rule' to make falling and staying asleep so much easier.
I hope it helps 🤍
To make your life easier:
00:34 Exploiting your circadian rhythm
01:40 Pillar 1: Relax
04:12 Pillar 2: Energy (caffeine)
07:10 Pillar 3: Sunlight
11:38 Pillar 4: Timing (consistency)
15:00 Action Steps

Fiction instead of non-fiction in order to let your mind relax is something I have been thinking about lately! 🙌

I have been following the advices you give in all of your uploaded up to now videos and I am blown away by how much my daily routine changed! I am more productive. I do not need an afternoon coffee. I manage to get a good night rest. No more Insta and Facebook scolling. Blown away! Thank you! Keep those videos coming! 💗

Love the advice to read fiction instead of non-fiction, for me it works the complete opposite though. When I read fiction, I tend to 'stay l' in that world and keep imagining how the rest of the story will unfold while non-fiction actually helps me wind down

Girl this was literally one of the best productivity videos I have watched lately! I am a student preparing for a competitive exam, and when you gotta study 9+ hours per day at the very least, you really have to make sure you are not cutting down on your health. Also thank you for reminding me to cut down on my caffeine intake 😂 Already subscribed and waiting for more informative videos to come 🎉

My biggest issues with getting a good circadian rhythm going are northern hemisphere dark mornings and a husband who is very much stuck in the “social media vortex” as I believe you put it. I actually find that if I get to bed early enough I can naturally wake up around 5-5:30, but if I haven’t slept well (partly due to a husband who is not sleeping well) it’s very tempting to just roll over and try to get another hour or so. If I do get up, I have been trying to get into a walking routine - even found a nicely lit area to walk in - but if the sun doesn’t rise until 8 a.m., it’s a little discouraging to walk with no sunshine reward. I’ve been napping in the afternoons to compensate for bad nights and early starts, but I guess naps are probably not too great if the goal is to let sleep hormones build throughout the day.

Ahh yes I could imagine this would definitely be challenging. I would really recommend getting a lightpad if you struggle with the lack of sun, and finding something else to get you excited to get up! Also afternoon naps can be really good, just limit them to around 20 mins 🤍

thank you so much for the scientific explanations about caffeine (and about everything you explained, really!)! i definitely will try to calculate my caffeine window and stick to it, because i always feel exhausted even if i think i got a good night of sleep (my smartwatch always says i don't get enough deep sleep and now it makes sense!). the only thing i can't really implement here is getting sunlight in the mornings - where i live (spain), the sun doesn't rise until 8 a.m (7 during the summer, thankfully) what an amazing video!! can't wait to see more of you 💗
