Great video! I would only suggest not using power tools to install the bolts in the back of your TV, and I would also add that using an impact drill for drilling the lag bolts in the wall would make your job SO much easier.

Maybe shes using a low setting. I usually thread it in on a low setting so I have to turn less by hand. I have a baby dewalt impact that is meant just for barely bottoming out screws and bolts.

My stud finder says there’s a stud but I drilled twice and no stud… I gave up unfortunately don’t want all these holes in my wall

You’re probably finding the edge of the stud. Once you found the edge, scan in the opposite direction until you find the other edge and you’ll find the center of the stud. Hope this helps 🙂

Tvs shouldn't be attached at eye level while standing, that is for paintings. You have to mount it at eye level when sitting that way you don't crane your neck while trying to watch tv

No washers on the standard lags is no good...also use a screwdriver not a drill when mounting the arms...good way to crack the screen and destroy the television especially for beginners

The mounts inside a tv are a part of the frame, and make no contact with the board/screen. I agree, by hand is better but worst case is stripping the thread, it shouldn’t crack the screen.

How do you Anchor a stud? ...

I typically you a drill bit, then I tap the anchors into the stud. I typically use 70lb anchors to hold most tvs
