HOW TO: Wash And Dry Clothes (THE BASICS OF DARK CLOTHES)

Hey Yall! Welcome back to another homemaking video!
I am going to try to be more repetitive with my videos in the "How To" segments of this channel because I would love to share everything that ive learned over the years with yall! I have been married to my husband now for 6 years, and we have lived in our home now for 5. When we bought this home I didnt know ANYTHING about being a homeowner/homemaker. I mean sure, I knew how to cook and clean....and ok, its literally nothing about those things like I thought it would be. Lol There's alwayssss a to-do list, alwayssss something to maintain (or fix, if you arent good at maintaining lol) and I figured that after so many hard lessons, I would share with yall what to do. (and what NOT to do!)
The first couple years of living in our home, I felt like I had my dad on speed dial 24/7. I'm 100 percent capable of fixing anything myself, but I mean come on, is it REALLYYY fixed until dad gets his hand or say in it? Nah.
A lot of things I learned the hard way about because even though you think there should be, there is NOT a manual they give you as soon as you move in! You dont get the checklist on "hey, in 3 months make sure you change this filter, or check these gauges, or replace these batteries, etc.".
So for everything ive learned so far, im determined to share with yall on this channel. And also, this is for everytime my husband asks me another ridiculous question on something hes asked me one thousand times I would like to just be petty and say "So, you didnt watch my video on that??" LOL!
But in all seriousness, some of the things that I have added to my list to share with yall seriously saved our butts when we found out about them. Because while these things can be good to maintain for their economic life, you also want to maintain things in your household to avoid any unwanted issues or damage down the road.
So, to get into todays video! Im sharing with yall the basics of How to Wash Clothes! These are for dark clothes, nothing special. However, I will also be releasing a how to wash WHITE CLOTHES using bleach video, and how we get our whitest whites! I figured I would just start with this one today because people just starting out on their own may have no idea where to even start. I hope that this can give you a little bit of a guideline on what can work for you!
In this video I am using Arm and Hammer products for my detergent, and Publix products for my softener. Both of these have been great for us thus far, and we LOVE the smell, too!
My dryer sheets are also from Publix, and they have always been just fine for us. None of their products have ever caused any sensitivity in my kids and that is big for me because they are sensitive to a lot of laundry products! A&H and Publix for the win!

This is actually a very good idea for a tutorial video. So many people truly don't understand what clothes should be washed together vs. not. My husband and I have been married for 38 years....and the man still doesn't have a good understanding of what he should put in same load... 😂. I've told him....I don't even know how it just comes to me like second nature..... probably due to so many years of washing...but it's definitely NOT something that's so obvious to him....but again.....a really good idea for a "how to" video. Actually....it could be a series since certain colored fabrics don't "bleed" while others will turn your entire load pink....lots of variations. 🌟😇
