Beautiful!! Your hair looks so defined and voluminous at the same time!! I only have wavy hair, but mine looks so much wavier when wet and loses all that shape when drying, unlike yours. which just keeps looking better and better as the process goes on!

I tried this routine and it is 100% a game changer. Great volume and the best definition from root to bottom and all around. Only con is that, for me at least, even with plopping and micro plopping my hair holds a lot of water. It takes forever to diffuse.

Does that make your hair high or low porosity? The fact it retains lots of water
@Rebecca112872 жыл бұрын
@@homiekeen23 I don’t think adding water could change your hair’s porosity but I think your porosity level may impact how well this technique works for you. Honestly, I am not sure what my own porosity is - but it’s healthy, has never been dyed and takes a while to dry even w/o this method so I am thinking high porosity? Anyway, this technique works really well for me in terms of definition and volume. The key is A LOT of scrunching when wet. Ya never know what may or may not work unless you try it!

I ordered Xmondo wave tech this week after saving for it and being scared to make the jump (i don't know why!) but I have wanted to try it after seeing what it can do to curly hair! I have two kids and my curls were replaced by TOTAL FRIZZ so I just thought my curls were gone due to hormones. I have similar hair to yours, but mine is longer and so incredibly thick. I just followed step by step with products I have on hand (plus a detangler because my hair is a monster after washing), all we had in common was Xmondo Wave tech. HELLO CURLY HAIR, where have you been??? Thank you for the step by step instructions, I followed you to a T, running back and forth in between bathrooms to find my gel, my curl cream, and diffuser, haha! I have to say that I was nervous when my hair was finally dried because I had that crunchy, wet curl look. But I continued to follow your routine, the last step being the oil. Wow does my hair look soft, curly, and beautiful! I don't see ANY frizz! Strangers ask me where my 3 year old daughter got her Shirley Temple curls, now I remember where, hahaha! Thanks again, you are beautiful!

(👈Not me. Lol. Using my husbands account here.) Your hair is so beautiful! I've just started my curly girl journey and one of the things I was thinking while I was watching your video is that at this point in my journey I don't think some of these techniques would work for me. One of the first problems I'm trying to tackle is moisturizing and balancing the protein in my hair. Because even after I use deep conditioner (both with and without protien) my hair is way to velcro-y to achieve that slick affect that you get when you are putting your products in. I keep trying the upside down method to get more natural clump formations in my hair but what ends up happening is that it just gets a lot of wet frizz, and it's all tangled up when I flip my head back over. And yes, I make sure my hair is very, very wet, and I've also tried an apple cider vinegar rinse. They help but don't eliminate the problem completely. No matter what I've tried so far, I've had to detangle my hair at every step during the wash, condition, and styling process. So I think for now I have to settle for styling my hair right side up so that I don't end up with a tangled mess before I can finish. It's a bummer because I feel like I'm sacrificing a lot of volume that way. But if I can figure out how to get my hair to have that slick texture you've got I'm going to come back and try this technique.
@adrianacinapri72242 жыл бұрын
LOVE your hair colour, by the way!!!!!! I don't use *love your curls* YET, but I've used other hair products. I never find that my hair comes THAT curly on hair wash day. I scrunch it SO much (till my head hurts), mid-late afternoon, my hair gets frizzy. Mind you, I also DON'T use the diffuser or hair spray. My hair always tends to dry OUT in a triangle shape rather than down. I try to "accept my curl", but I'm just not happy right now...............

Your hair is lovely. My hair looks okay until I break the cast, then it begins to flatten into light waves. It, also, won’t form into big clumps, just tiny ones. I believe it’s the hard water where I live, because it does well when I’m out of town. Okay I am really curious about a couple of things! 1) what happens if you don't diffuse? I feel like diffusing takes a lot of time and usually my hair dries quick, but I only use curl cream and leave in. 2) doesn't the flax gel work as a gel? Do you need a mousse or other gel? What is the purpose of the flax gel. 3)do you NEED the denman brush? I see every curly girl using one but I just have a regular brush that can be used on wet hair which I use to detangle. Thanks 😚
