You need to wash and rejuvenate only when the duster stops picking up dust . That will happen for at least six months or more.

Thanks for your query. So long as the cotton strings are in good shape you can renew your duster. My old jopasu duster is 2 years old. Once your duster stops picking up the dust you should renew it.
