For me, I mainly focus on the crotch and armpits. Being real here, those are the smelliest areas. So usually I also wear some light padding so I can limit the amount of grease going into my costume

Do you use this same method of soaking with your suit that has the embossed spider emblem on the chest, or will the water and soap cause it to slowly come off? My GF and I are getting some suits in a couple of weeks from the RPC studios (our first ones ever) and this video is definitely a big help!

slipknotlegion Having an embossed spider will require you to occasionally glue the spider back on. It's just part of cosplay maintenance. Don't worry you might not have to glue it as often if much at all, but just be aware of it. If and when my embossed spider starts to come off i use super glue and that usually has a strong hold. I will make a video on how to wash a puff painted suit with an embossed spider soon.

I would just sponge clean the mask a little by hand. You don't want to accidentally loosen your glue.
