That’s why today we will address what you need to do to keep your skin oil-free and healthy.
1) Before washing your face, it is important to wash your hands to get rid of all the bacteria. This is an essential step because bacteria can cause pimples and acne problems. Women should always remember to remove their make up as not removing it can cause the pores to get clogged or blocked which can increase the chances of pimples.
2) Wash your face with a gentle cleanser that suits your skin type. Do not use soap on your skin as soap can make your skin rough and dry. If you have oily skin, you can use an oil-free cleanser and if you have pimple prone skin, you can use a face wash that contains salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide acid. For dry skin, use can use an astringent free or alcohol-free mild cleanser that has some moisturizing agents.
3) Before using the cleanser, wash your face with lukewarm water. Washing your face with cold water causes your pores to shrink and the dirt remains trapped inside. Using hot water may cause your skin to become dry. In fact, if you have oily skin and wash your face with hot water, this will cause it to become dry which will then lead to increase oil secretion.
4) Take half a teaspoon of face wash or cleanser and apply it on your face using your fingertips. Gently massage the cleanser in circular motions from your nose to your cheeks, then the chin and then on your forehead. Focus on the nose and forehead as the skin is generally oiliest in these areas.
It is also important to clean behind your ears and towards your hairline. Massage your face with the cleanser for at least 1 minute so that the dirt accumulated due to pollution gets completely cleaned out. It is best to apply face wash with hand to prevent any irritation to your skin.
5) Wash your face with lukewarm water after cleansing.
6) After washing out the cleanser, it is important to wipe your face with a soft towel. Be gentle, as wiping your face roughly may also irritate the skin.
7) After washing and drying your face, remember to apply moisturizer! This step is especially important for people with dry skin.
However, it is also important for people with oily skin and helps to prevent pimples. It is also extremely important to apply sunscreen before stepping out.
How often should you wash your face in a day?
Ideally, you should wash your face twice a day, once when you wake up in the morning and once after you reach home from school/college/office or before you sleep at night. It is also a good idea to wash your face after exercising or after a day out in the sun. But it is not a good idea to wash your face more than 2/3 times as this may make the skin dry.

Hello, I've recently used a coffee scrub on my face cause my face was tanned but after using that I'm even feeling more tanned and face is not that Fair which it used to be so I've immediately stopped using the face crub...
