Probably not best to clean mirrors right after rubbing your engine. From cleanest parts to dirtiest parts is the rule. Or bring a lot of cloths.

What is the dangers of washing a motorcycle when it's hot? Or is that just a myth?

biggest danger is the soap product used dries on the paint/metal bits and that can wear down the finish. theoretically a very hot engine introduced to 'cold' water could cause a problem as the metal expands and contracts with the shock temperature changes.

Thanks for the video, but this should be a video of how not to wash your bike. 1 you should never wash a bike that is hot. And 2 you should never use high pressure on a motorcycle, itccould cause electrical problems.

Have you EVER heard of anyone who ACTUALLY had electrical problems after pressure washing a motorcycle?? Probably not. It’s just a precaution not an actual danger. Chances are… you’ll be fine.

The acid in the soap corroded the solder connections on my 79 Yamaha XS1100. This was back in 1982 in Sacramento, CA. Plus I will not wash a hot motorcycle.

I don’t get it about hot bike washing. What if ur driving on the highway and it rains? What do I do then??? Rain…hot bike…huh? Please help
