TNT Sports want £30.99 a month to watch cycling! If you like participating in and watching cycling, then like us, you've probably been bombarded with subscription price hikes in recent years.
The death of cycling on Eurosport - and the £6.99 subscription that came with it, replaced by a £30.99 a month TNT paywall in its place - might have felt like the final nail in the coffin for some of you, but there are ways to soften the financial blow slightly and save money on other cycling-related regular payments.

Cancelled my D+ sub. As soon as I got the email, selected other so I could tell them why… tantamount to theft! 443% price hike! £30.99 pm… then there’ll be sudden PPV events within GT / Classics & all the major Tours I,e Paris-Nice, Le Dauphine, TDSwiss and the likes. Might be worth looking into subbing to France TV, TV Espana & RAI? I will look into that. Edit here. EE TV Deal ends 4th Feb. You must have had an EE Pay Monthly 4GEE WIFI Contract for at least 1 month, or 6 months on SIM only to qualify !

Ordered my Samsung TV from EE yesterday. Got access to TNT today. Paid £10 upfront and will be paying £10 per month for 24 months full TNT subscription AND I’ve got a shiny new smart TV! I do create a training plan on my own by evaluation existing plans from Garmin, Strava, MyWhoosh, KZbinrs and Zwift. Fortunately that I am into cycling just for recreation, keep myself being fit, not for racing because I am too old. Most of subscription in the video, however, I have never spent money on that. All I need is spared parts for my bike maintenance, which cost me quite a lot in a year.

Buy stuff directly from China. My Yoeleo R-12 cost $4500 with Ultegra Di2 and Elite Drive wheels and is just as good as $16,000 S-Works Tarmac SL8.

I stopped Strava Premium when they hiked up their prices. I then halted Zwift when they went through their last price restructure. I've sold half my cycle wears on vinted. I loved the GCN pay to watch, and this latest TNT is a proper death nail. I am clinging onto rod cycling by my finger nails.... If the government pushes for cycle tax/insurance, then it'll be bye bye.

BC membership... If you sign up to be a commissaire, you'll get free membership. There's training and some commitments involved. But without Comms, there's no racing

Which countries show likes of TdF on free to air? Must be some in France. Spain etc? So use a VPN and tune in there perhaps?

SRF (swiss national TV) usually shows the tdf, tds and classics plus some semi classics (strade bianche) for free (if you have a vpn with servers in switzerland) and with german commentators. Not sure if the french speaking RTS and italian speaking RSI also show races. I think RTS usually shows the tour de romandie in french.

Stick with British Cycling UK if you want to race and/or you can put up with their scummy association with Shell Switch to CyclingUK if you don't race and you'd rather support an organisation that actually works towards making cycling safer and available to everyone. P.S - Sorry to everyone out there who does race but hates what BC has become :(

Not in Ireland or the UK as separate channels, you will only be able to watch the Eurosport channels via the full TNT subscription.
