Damn bro this is such a good tutorial, i’ve been watching yeonarang play recently and wavedash jfsr he does gets the opponent so often, i’ve been practicing but I struggle with the timing and speed to get both the wavedash cancel and the the second f which is essentially part of the standard jfsr as I seem to press the 4 too late, truly some advanced shit right here

This a great tutorial. This can also be applied to kazuya as well. If you input these same inputs but with a 2 instead of a 4, you will kaz's wavedash pewgf. Which will give u a 13f instead of his 14f electric. Good pressure against those with generic 13f df1 pokes.

Hey Basuka, 2 questions, is the ss jdcr after wavedash any easier than this or is it situational. Also for the wall combo ss3 3f f3 is that always the go to or do you usually use the bread and butter RFF f3 f3 3f f4. Cheers, Loving the vids (would love to see a frame trap/setups video)

Hey thanks so much man! Ss jfsr is easier but try to do a very little sidestep, otherwise your opponents reacts and steps you while you do jfsr. I made a video about that "advanced jfsr techniques" hope that is helpful .. The ss 33 combo is amazing for its damage and variations, so I try to do it the most time. I do the bread n butter wall combo only at side wall or when the opponent is low on life and it will kill anyway. Sometimes also when it's a very stressful game

I kinda cheat. I click back to end a wave dash and then do a jfsr. Some people side step but that messes up your alignment with your opponent making the hunting hawk combo whiff

Speed is key. Imagine snapping your fingers...thats the speed that you have to perform the inputs. Easy on 2p side if your using stick...1p side takes lots of practice.

For me what i do is...If youre in 2p side, place the side of your thumb lightly near the top of the ball top and then tap ACROSS the lever as if your performing a snap of a finger. Then bring the remaining fingers to hold the level quickly right after to do the df input simultaneously with 4. Remember, the speed has to be like that of a snap of a finger. Also, try not to over think it...just let the motion flow. And jfsr is not an easy move, if you dont get it right away...just keep practicing. The 1p side is more of a hand motion. I would describe it like kneading a dough. From The part of your hand where the 4 fingers meet near the lever. Tap forward but not really using full force to where the lever hits all the way to the right...just a tap to get the forward input. Then, with the kneading motion that i mention above, quickly hit the lever using the part of your hand with the 4 fingers meet yet again to input the df 4, your fingers should be holding the lever during the df motion as well. Also the power from your df input should be coming from your forearm/elbow. So forward with hand, df with forearm simultaneously with the 4. I normally find myself pressing 4 slightly early during the df input. Sorry for the long post, i wanted to give as much visual queues as much as possible.

@@faelwin yes speed is necessary because its a "just frame". It has to be quick. It has to be comparable or same speed as if you are performing kazuya's counter hit df 2 pewgf combo. Input has to be performed within a certain time frame.

@@lycanshithrope6956 make sure that your inputs are very clean, so I recommend turning on the notations in p mode. Then pay attention to the sound you make on the pad, it has to be 2 sounds: 1: the f .. 2: the df+4 Then practice the speed of it while making sure it's clean inputs. I hope this makes any sense and it helps a bit ^^
