Another great video Erin! You rocked all the looks but that all black/blazer/pony was really great! And the taupe theory too! I second your advice on the measurements when boot shopping. If a site doesn't provide it, take the model number, brand, or style and insert it into a site that does. Knowing your measurements will save you so much time effort and frustration. There really is a solution out there for you...don't give up~ Measure twice/cut once~ in this case measure twice BUY ONCE! ; )

It's all about the styling and the quality of the item. For example, even cheap high heels can look tacky.... and even worse with a sleazy outfit. Problem solved I found some very nice toggles (metallic look) and placed them onto the elastic, much better then tying knot that keeps untying on me!

Erin, I wear my otks with dress shorts so I can show off my patterned hosiery worn beneath them. Of course I structure my outfits so that they are 50+ age appropriate also complimentary to the shape of my body and also respectably state a, "50 is the new 30" type attitude. But heeeey!!! Here is a quote from my tall blogger bud, Amanda.... "I am 5’10 1/2 and I look for a shaft height of 25″ or over! I know that if it is 25″ it will be long enough that if I were to bend my legs that the boot would still cover my knee. 24″ will also work, but your knee may show when your leg is bent!" ..... Since she is a bit taller than you, I think you could probably lose an inch or two. Erin xo

I have the Stuart Weitzman Midlands, heel measures 1 1/2" without the sole. 1 3/4" with the sole. Hope this helps. Love your videos, very informative . The heel in this video appears taller than mine.

These are all beautiful outfits, but I do not have the budget to go out and buy a $798 pair of boots and don't know many women who do. For most outfits in her videos, you have to be fairly rich to be able to buy and wear this stuff. Not very practical or affordable for the middle class working woman.

Steph look on eBay, consignment shops, 2nd hand stores. I got a pair of black leather over the knee boots, not suede tho, for $75 approximately on eBay, fit is amazing and good quality leather. 2 days ago at a Salvation Army thrift shop I found a beautiful black jacket mint condition, to wear with my black jeans and black knee high boots, for $12.99 - Ralph Lauren.
