Hi, I personally do not recommend welding this type of weld using a 0.8mm welding wire, for a simple reason, the ability to maneuver the parameters relative to the wire feed speed is smaller compared to a 1mm or 1.2mm binder. When setting the parameters for this test, it was noticeable that when I turned up the currents a little, the wire melted excessively, which confirms that a better solution is to use a thicker wire than 0.8mm. When it comes to welding technique, I don't need to add anything else, because from my point of view the test is clearly demonstrated. Visually, the weld is properly made, although I am unsatisfied with fusion. Although the materials are penetrated and in practice it is accepted but based on my own experience I know that using a thicker binder we can get a better effect. On my channel there are more videos on #how #welding #migomat to which I invite interested in the topic.
I wish you a pleasant viewing.
