Helping Doc with wetsanding. Your hands on his reminded me the pottery seen in the movie Ghost lol with Patrick Swayzy. 😅 good tutorial, though, for sure. Learned a lot.

Damn I just started doing my first paint correction on my 2014 Impala. It’s been to the car wash so many times you got me wishing I started with this instead of having to do a full 3 step with DIY system that still isn’t removing most of the deep scratches. Next time I won’t be too scared to try it though, thanks EC!

Just wet sanded about 10 spots on a customers car today. It makes life so much easier with the polisher. Just really have to know what you’re doing. Guys go to your local body shop and get scrap panels and practice practice practice. Also bro I just got a tube of NSP 95 and it’s all watery and a nasty consistency. Something is goin on over there. I hope they figure it out. I sent an email to customer support

Question for you e Eddie. You are using Rupes x cut 3000. On the link you provided, it comes up as Sunmight brand. So do you recommend this an an good alternative? Or is this something that Amazon does. I have noticed this with other You tubers who provide links in Amazon. Thank you Eddie.

Love the video, but honestly 3k isn’t enough for me on this job. That paint is rough and I know it’s thick, so personally I’m going 1500, 3k, compound and polish and it’s taking a lot less time. I would even consider bringing out the Scorpio pneumatic and just hitting it with an interface pad and the whole car is ready for compound in about 15 minutes.

Gonna have to watch the 2nd half of this video tomorrow cause it’s bed time but love this video bro cause I just started getting into wet sanding recently and I still have alot to learn so far have only done scratches a few times, haven’t sanded any full panels yet but I’m planning on it on my personal truck it’s a 2020 gmc sierra in black and it’s the most stubborn paint I’ve ever worked on there’s tons of little defects that look like they should come out and have tried multiple different pad and compound combos with no success..just need a paint depth gauge first that doesn’t break the bank and works I bought the vvv group gauge and it was way off so exchanged it and the 2nd 1 way more accurate but still not accurate to trust and calibrating it doesn’t work so returning it again smh
@Ecdetails5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! You can get some paint depth gauges for an affordable price on amazon bro amzn.to/4civBpm
