How To Whiten Your Clothing - Remove Yellow Stains

Knowing how to whiten your clothing with oxygen bleach is super easy and very much worth it, I promise.
There are a few ways to go about this but the most effective way to whiten your clothing is to soak them in oxygen bleach and hot water overnight. Oxygen bleach works its magic very slowly so letting it soak for 8 hours+ is ideal. You must must must use hot water too, oxygen bleach does not work well in cold environments.
I’d always recommend cleaning your item first and getting it as stain free as possible. That’s because oxygen bleach focuses on correcting the color and not removing the physical stain.
I repeated this process twice for this hat and the results were much better than I expected.
Other ways to use oxygen bleach include spraying down a washable garment with hydrogen peroxide and let it air dry (hit it with some hot air from a hair dryer to speed up this process) and adding oxygen bleach into the washer drum during a washing cycle. Again, use hot water if you’re doing this.

Oxygen cleaners can become inert over time in my experience. Oxygen cleaners should be used within the first two years of purchase.

In my experience, yes, I have a white button up with design print & It didn’t mess anything up. Haven’t tried with a normal logo T-Shirt tho

I soaked the shirts I wore for dance class in every type of bleach I could find.. (We have to wear white shirts for uniform) And they’re STILL YELLOW. It’s embarrassing to talk about but I seriously need these stains out. I can’t afford to buy five new shirts when each shirt is $40 😭😭😭

Sometimes, if you are worried about it you can dissolve the oxi powder in hot water and then let it cool down and then wash your items in it

I use liquid Oxiclean White Revive, I use on all my light color clothes as directed on the back for “pre treat tough stains”. (pour a little directly on the stain, rub it in gently to make it foam a bit, then wait about 5-10 minutes NO LONGER) I’ve forgot about dark grey pants sitting with some on for maybe 20min-1hr and they now have a permanent light faded spot, so I’d be cautious on darks
