It's been a while since your last video, so when I saw the words "The joy of carving" in the thumbnail of a recommended video, I was happy. And after watching you create this amazing fox I am even happier. There's something abou your videos that makes them relaxing to watch. I think they show how much you enjoy this hobby and that's always nice to see.

I don't have a scroll saw but i do have a coping saw - I use this to help remove chunks of wood where necessary. Just dont press too hard or you'll snap the blade...

I used a coping saw for years as well, it’s a great alternative 😊👍

Bonjour, votre renard est bien représentatif. Bravo. Pouvez donner les dimensions du bloc que vous avez utilisé pour le réaliser s’il vous plaît ? Merci de votre réponse et pour le partage, Vichnou

Thanks so much for the support! The blank was about 3cm thick, 7cm long and 5cm wide. Hope that helps you 😊😊🙏

That is awesome!!! I will surely try it once I get a scroll saw :(. Cutting that much wood with a whittling knife is going to be super painful. BTW, what is that pencil, it looks super cool.

Thank you! 😊👍 scroll saw will definitely save lots of time. I made the pencil, I had some charcoal pieces which are good to draw onto wood but I didn’t want want to get my figures covered in charcoal dust so I just drilled a hold through a stick and glued the charcoal in place. Once you sharpen it it works like a normal pencil 😊 👍
