That’s awesome. If you’re a homeowner doing this make the sidewalk part flow into the entry. Having that hard right turn then a hard left turn to walk towards the door is dumb especially if you’re drunk, lol. This homeowner should have shaped it without having a corner at the end of sidewalk meeting the entry way. So basically a board done on this angle / to make it eliminate corner & make comfortable to approach entry and to make mowing grass easier. I’ve been a landscape designer/installer for 25 yrs( complete properties with grass, landscape, hard scape, waterfalls, pavers, tile, cement)and we get rid of just about any corners on a property. Looks better and is easier to maintain & in this case easier to walk to front door especially if you need to dolly cart anything into your house or a wheelchair.

Hey there, great videos! So I'd like to widen my driveway (like most *other* human beings - when contractors will finally catch on & widen from the jump, idk). At any rate, I also think I'd like to paver it. Isn't it possible to paver over concrete & do you recommend taking the time & money to widen it with concrete before eventually pavering it all? Also, I'm ashamed I had *no* idea how much goes into the prep. 😔🤭

I noticed this video is 2 years old... so hopefully you see my question. How much would a small project like adding a small addition to the driveway be? Like what you did on the left side of the garage only? What was the a two foot wide addition? I need that for the same reason so my husband and I can park comfortably in the driveway. We got a 1950s house and their two car garage driveways and garages are a bit tinier than most 2 car garage driveways. I'd like a quote of what you would charge to come in and do it... just so I can prepare myself. Thanks

@@22pnc37 Another thing homeowners don't understand is that they're paying for the expertise of the finishers and concrete pourers. Until they attempt to pour it themselves they don't realize how much work goes into it and even worst when their DIY pour goes bad an they're paying for a truck on standby with drying concrete in the barrel or chute.
