I think this would be easier to do with Allied, maybe GB to counter all those paras. They have some tools AI cannot really play against, such as spies, Mirage or Prism tanks or just Rocketeer rush.. AI seems to handle the brute soviet power much better

You know, the normal gaming meme is that when you unlock the villain as a playable character, they get extremely gimped. This does not apply to Yuri. In fact, Yuri is EVEN MORE BROKEN when played by a good player. Imagine if they were smart enough to target your Construction Yard with Psychic Dominator, and coordinate a strike together, instead of targeting your production buildings closest to their base...

It's fairly easy to make the AI target the Construction Yard with its superweapons, actually. How the superweapon targeting logic works in the game is that each building category (factory, power, radar, etc.) is assigned a priority value in rules.ini; when the AI is looking for a target, it enumerates through the opponent's structures, looks at the structure's category, then looks at the priority list value for that category, then fires the superweapon at whichever structure's category has the highest value (if there's a tie, it picks the first structure in that category, in the order in which the structures in that category were built). The priority list can be set to be different for each difficulty level, but in the unmodded game it's identical across all levels and set to target factories (ie. War Factory or Naval Yard) before everything else. I once considered writing a small mod where the AI's superweapon targeting priorities are different across difficulty levels; I don't remember the exact values but the basic idea was that the easy AI targets the ConYard first to do the most raw damage (presuming that the ConYard is in the middle of the base), the normal AI targets tech structures first to deny you access to your advanced units, the brutal AI targets power first to shut down your defenses and stall your own superweapon countdown.
