So few barbarians spawn. In my games it never stops spawning. Camp after camp

Same dude seeing the way he’s playing I’m just face palming at how many units I built and how many chances to dominate I missed by not upgrading units with gold rather than lose advantage by the time they were done being built in numbers. I wanted to win by domination my first match and I’m 350 turns in and haven’t taken anything at all and currently at a stalemate with a small city-state whose demolishing me with a single cannon. Haha this game is good so glad I bought it.

Same. Every time I watch a let's play it's 1-2 camps spread out nicely. Load up a game and BAM 5± all popping within the first 75 turns.

Yeah on emperor they spawn every few turns. Sometimes crossbow horsemen turn 10 lol. When that happens I legit restart

Camps can only spawn in fog of war. So, If you have units of your own or of your suzerain city states around, the chance of them spawning ist much lower

This is the best civ 6 tutorial, the other ones explain the game and play it. You play the game and explain what you're doing in this way everything is more practical and easier to understand!

Doesn't the great general effect have a range of 2 tiles? That's what the white border is for, right?

Does the general strategy change much on a vanilla or GS run? I only just bought the game on sale but I haven't bought the expansions yet, so a few things like the governor and era strategies don't seem to apply.
