"Engine limitations" is so silly when you actually have a pretty satysfying experience watching one person with fog of war. You get all the information the player grts and the decidions he makes based on those. Yet somehow, if you switch perspective a singular time all information everywhere is gone forever. It's not that the engine can't show you enemy structures through fog of war because of the engine. It's someone upstairs that's decided it's not a priority, or a bunch of hires just incapable of putting their heads together. Granted, when aoe2 didn't have a satysfying casting experience, someone made one. Maybe it really is hard, but it's extremely silly.

brother civ 7 just dropped and a friend asked me to make a tier list, i've spent literally 200 hours playing only 1 out of 3 ages (antiquity) playing 3 out of 26 leaders, and like 5 out of 30 civilizations. you better believe i can't handle a new game that launches because it is INDEED way too much content!
