I have no fear or feel bad in asking for money. I can do it. What does come up once in awhile me. Townsend is that sometimes I feel inferior against the ones running- they seem very accomplished and experience. I have was a stay at home mom for many years later I received my bachelor's of science in business management went on to be a supervisor for a senior citizen business providing provider services, at one time owned a non- profit, now my husband and I have a small newspaper called Herencia My Heritage magazine, and I am currently my husband's caretaker. He suffered a spinal cord injury about 4 years ago. But now this grand opportunity has come up and my dream ever since high school was to become the First Latina Mayor of El Paso, Texas. I want to win.

it’s been done before, and was almost done in 2022. it takes a well-healed moderate Republican running against an unpopular democrat, in a year when republican winds are at their back.

Thanks, I'm not saying this to blow smoke in your face but, I see a lot of myself in you. I too believe government can and should serve the greater good. It starts with honest candidates who are passionate and believe in the good of helping people. At a time when the political theater is stained with the actions of those working only for their own benefit, I feel compelled to bring morals, civility, unity, and direction back to our nation. I am a candidate for the House of Representatives, with aspirations for the Oval Office. I will prove to this nation that not all is lost. With the right people, the right attitude, a moral compass, and unity amongst our citizens, there is nothing, we Americans, can't achieve when we stand united. We all owe it to those who have and will, give everything, and make the ultimate sacrifice for that flag. To put aside our differences and stand untied as Americans, for the benefit of U.S. all. I will be filling out your application.

Hello Jay! I'm currently 22 years old (nearing 23) and decided to finally continue my education after facing some financial hardship. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, and hope to afterwards begin on a path to obtaining a Juris Doctor Degree. My question is; when is too late for someone to run for Political Offices such as the House of Representatives, or the Senate? I'm hoping to get involved with Local Elections and Campaigns relatively soon to gain some first-hand "ground floor" experience, as well as potentially run for Local Office positions in the near future (such as School Board, City/Town Council, etc., maybe see where that leads). Yet by the time I finish my Bachelors Degree - and let's just assume my Juris Doctor Degree as well - I'll be 30 years old, if not older. With not much of an impressive "Political Resume" to show for that time if I want to Campaign for Congress. Or is it just all in my head?
@somethingsomethingusername8024 жыл бұрын
[replying to add] I have no illusions of grandeur, and I don't consider myself gifted in any particular way... unless you count being able to make a Box of Cheez-Itz disappear in one sitting. But I do know since I was young I wanted to be a Politician. To "become the Lightning Rod for the Voice of the People". To make actual change, and to better my community.
@ezekieloruven4 жыл бұрын
I'm not Jay, but I can give you one answer: "When is it too late for someone to run for Political Offices such as US House or Senate?" Never. The US House has had freshmen members get elected as old as 78: history.house.gov/HistoricalHighlight/Detail/15032400044?ret=True Also, while it does matter, don't worry too much about an illustrious history, as while that is very helpful (including local office above), remember that a lot of people get into politics from relatively uninvolved backgrounds. AOC was a bartender, Mark Walker was a Baptist minister, and Rick Crawford was a news anchor.
