18:55 I always feel the spear was useless, and this is the proof, in teamfight you stack 4 charges just before die. I start winning more stop doing that useless item. Good just for creep. And definitely this is not a game where your team feed. Bot win the lane. This means you were 3 good, and Diana beat Lissandra in cs. And that VI was a noob, enemy team never come to contest dragons, that mean the your team was not losing. Indeed just Darius lost the lane. Wow, You were 4v1 Akali. Very losing game. 21:45 again, you were flaked by two underleveled opponent and you can't do nothing than run away, you stak the spear's charge when you were afar and never hit anyone with that, and die. 24:15 the enemies was winning but never contest a dragon or atakan!!! 26:50 wow, you kill a lvl13 champ with a lvl16 champ. Oh wait! A same level champ is coming! Oh... You die. Spears was just 3 charges, it didn't reach even full charges. Luckyly a same level Ezreal save the situation. 28:58, nice suicide, I lost a lot of games doing that. 31:39 die under your own tower, spear had no charges. 33:20 cool Lissandra overstimate herself and understimate you all. 33:35 enter the combat, miss a bomb, loss 80% hp, run away. Die. If you were any other champ, probably they were dead. 37:00 and in the end DARIUS WIN the game, leading an overconfident akali (the only enemy threat) in a deadly trap. So, what I have learned from this video? Spear is nothing, just stop everybody to say that is the main shyvana item. A good kite and a good flanking can win a game.

The relevance of the Spear comes from from it's insane CDR potential to be able to use E more often. There is no single item in the game that helps you more with this, and Shyvana needs this CDR. As you don't want to buy CDR boots and you wanna grab Lyandris second it makes sense to build it first. Also this game is maybe a bad example, as Shyvana cannot initialize anything here due to their huge pick potential (Liss, Vi, Akalis feed), in another game you are absolutely able to stack this times quite fast. Edit: If the profile I found is actually yours (which it looks like as it is a Shyvana main profile) you are an iron player with the wildest, most inefficient builds on Shyvana that I ever saw. Idk, what you are talking about to be honest, but I would recommend you to listen a little more to the meta if you want to climb some day. There are reasons, maybe you just didn't understand them yet, but I'd recommend to you to dig deeper into that instead of thinking that you are the good player already

You seem very passionate about your beliefs, but like the other commenter said, spear was never about specifically it’s damage, it’s mainly a cooldown item in this build. In AD shyvana builds, it’s damage is more impactful, but here, it serves mostly to get our E cooldown as low as possible, so we can throw more big booms out per dragon form activation. @ Cosmic gives you less health and AP instead of AD, considering that most skills of Shyvana scale with AD and it increases her actual fighting potential, I think AD is the better choice here. For early game, 70 AP are not enough to power boost Shyvana properly. That's the reason why in earlier builds on her first item was Nashoors, because it actually gave her melee fighting power at the same time.
