Checkers is criminally underrated

I dont think so. Its soooo boring. I played checkers with my friend on and a discord activity and none of us chose to resign. we were left only with queens. he had 2 and I had 6. he just camped the edges. you cannot capture edges and that makes them incredibly overpowered. he kept his two queens there and using the edges I got down to 3 queens. at one point he blundered and I won, we counted the movse and that endgame with 2 red queens and 6 black lasted for about 60 moves. I am now looking for a way to destroy this corner strategy, but cant seem to find one. checkers isnt bad, but its just boring.

chess actually better than checkers

@@lieutenantrockstarfreddy8730Do you use the mandatory capture rule? If not, it's not surprising that you find the game boring and end up in the dead ends you describe. If you're looking for a more dynamic game, I suggest you try International Checkers.

The only advice i give to a draughts player is that the best tactic and method of winning against any opponent is perdiction this cannot only let you set yr opponent into a trap but it can easily break him or hers attacks and impove the damage delt on them it can be quite a hard thing to learn but with time and playing against many players you can achieve it just like me

This is useless and plus people don't always take the checkers piece and have it in the back row don't mean much
