If the E Claw lets you drop it over (or nearly over) the prize chute, then using the Swing Technique is invaluable. Position the claw over the prize shoot (or hopefully as far over the edge as possible), then jerk the joystick back and forth so the claw swings. With correct timing, you can get it to swing from the prize chute back into the play field. When it grips the prize, it'll drag it towards the prize chute. Regardless if it's on payout, it'll be better positioned to drop the prize into the chute. So on the couple of plushes where you had it land on the edge and then fall back into the play field, it could have been that extra centimeter that would have made fall into the prize chute instead. :)

Awesome guys :) I won from an e-claw the payout was reset as they just put "new" plush in there, so impossible to win but it flew into the prize chute of the machine next to it. The sensor didn't go off cause we were not playing that side. Video will be up soon, have had trouble with uploading content for a couple of days :(

We basically we need to calculate how much we would originally spend on the plush per try and see how much it's worth and methodically calculate out the optimal amount we would be willing to spend on it. :/ Oh gosh, Eclaw makes me feel so cheated, but FANTASTIC video!

I'm usually pretty good at the Claw Game, sometimes I can win a pair of plushies with just a play If I get lucky ( 2 Coins)...however,lately I can't seem to make it anymore. Even tho the plushies are in a good position, the Claw does not seem to grab, unless you spend a certain amount of money. I noticed this happens a lot with the giant Claws. Those are the same machines that used to give me prizes before...could it be that the machines have been tampered to reach an even higher Payout quote? This is not really fair!

I won some Pac Man plush yesterday and the day before. They're so bouncy. They'll just bounce to the prize chute.

If you live in the UK and the claw machines place 6 plush in the machines then play each machine once and move on. Southend seafront for example has well over 30 claw machines at 20p ago. So you can try 30 machines for just £6. Usually you will hit at least 1 machine that's ready to payout. There's really no other way to win them round here but I've had quite a few wins by doing this.

our claw machine in the philippines, the grip is super light. we cant even move the toy. its almost really wasting money. i learned tips n tricks from youtube though. i have a loott of toys now. mostly if the toy is really near the edge or with that lucky 1 token 1 win. or count the number of tries before the grip thightens. some machine the grip will get stronger until a win. some it will tighten up only once like after 30 tries or something.

Those are some nice tips, but what I noticed the guy was doing was a bit counterproductive. I think if he aimed for the head at the 54-second or 1:14 mark instead of the body, he might have pushed it closer in and saved himself a few tries. Though were you aiming for the body because of the weight of the head? Though the Sccoby one probably wouldn't suffer that problem and grabbing the part away from the chute would have knocked it in.

Haha yes, payout is pretty much the only way to win on those machines with only a small number of plushes on the field :( We're lucky that some of the machines we frequent are filled properly!
