one big key here is that, those 2 team leaders and the solo need to either be veterans (and decent ones at that) or they need to play a lot together. you put 1 vet stranger in one team lead and the other two friends as team lead and solo things can still get fubar really quickly. One thing I've found that is key to doing well in tarkov is having a group that vibes well, then everything else will work wonders, don't vibe well then good luck.

yea I think one of the most important things you mentioned is how the engaged squad mate souldnt be trying too hard to kill the enemy, and instead just lock them in place. I keep reminding my mates about this over and over and over, but they still manage to get killed half the time before manage to flank.

I quit tarkov a while ago but I do have some tips: you need to understand the map fully, by that I mean every location that you might encounter a gunfight with someone. Having this in hand means having the fight under control, if you barely even understand a structure of the inner complicated parts of a map then you dying in a team fight is basically what you deserve. This also concludes the fact why tarkov has a minimum of 1 thousand hour of game play to get good as a bare minimum. Info is key in this game when compared to other fps since ammo and gun modification grants you advantage than aiming directly on the head so that’s not your top priority.

This is what EFT should be like - nothing but strategy and teamwork. An actual hardcore military simulator. A game in which you win using your _brain_ to outsmart the foe and get yourself into a good and safe firing position, from where you can make one precise shot - not your _hands_ to instantly aim and release a stream of M995 to the head when you accidentally run into an enemy while carelessly rushing the loot zones. The bad thing is that now many people prefer the second way, the CoD-style meta lasergun warfare in Labs, since it brings way more in-game money.

I play with a duo and sometimes trio, both of which have vastly less game sense and experience than I do. Sometimes it's frustrating because of our clash of play styles and their limited knowledge of maps, tactics and communication has us losing most team fights. One of them even gets so engrossed in the gun fight he literally loses the ability to speak. But it's better than running with random sweats on discord. Even if you die with the homies, you still ride with the homies.

This is great. My only issue though: I've often been in squads where we all died to a solo player cos we spread out and that player fought each of us 1v1. If your smaller enemy is fighting you in that way he negates your numerical advantage. So how do you spread, flank and manoeuve without becoming a collection of solo players instead of a team?

It comes down to coms. The job of the first person he killed was to communicate that they needed help. If they did that and no one else came to help then it's your squads fault for not coming to aid.

Poking is great. Everything you said ab it and the examples were accurate and great. First example is horrible tho. Especially pointing out that Interchange method. Not only ur wasting ur time but the enemy time aswell. Its a video game im trying to have fun and take fun gun fights. But the pain, blood, and sweat it takes to even come remotely close to clearing 3 cunts holding top floor of Interchange is never worth it. No skill required ur just scoped waiting for someone to walk into ur sight. If ur gonna really wanna do that just play woods. Hence that map is dead late wipe.
