to be honest there's not really many tips for that, you just have to learn it. you can watch individual map guides that go through the main callouts and you just have to memorise them. Another thing you can do while you don't know the callouts is use the yellow pings and use the compass at the bottom that tells you the name of rooms.

Cheaters tend to not shoot defaults because they're low skill players (to be fair sometimes it's just forgotten)
