Key Lessons and Timestamps from Gary Vee for Fans! The video provides a wealth of insights from Gary Vee on the current state of marketing, specifically focusing on the power of organic social media. Here are some of the most valuable takeaways I got: 1. Prioritize Organic Social Media ([10:52, 16:58]): Lesson: Organic social media should be the cornerstone of your marketing strategy. Allocate a significant portion of your budget (ideally 25-30%) towards it. Timestamp: 10:52 (discussing budget allocation), 16:58 (suggesting a minimum of $5 million for larger companies) Why: Organic social allows for creative testing and audience engagement before investing heavily in paid media [2:20]. It's where consumer attention is truly focused, unlike traditional mediums like television where ad avoidance is high [4:40]. 2. Focus on Creative Excellence ([0:18, 1:24, 7:43]): Lesson: The quality of your creative content is paramount in today's landscape. Invest in creating engaging, platform-specific content that resonates with your target audience. Timestamps: 0:18 (creative excellence drives reach), 1:24 (tailoring creative to each platform), 7:43 (avoiding above-the-line campaigns without social validation) Why: Algorithms prioritize content that captures attention, leading to greater organic reach and more effective paid campaigns [1:30, 2:20]. Don't rely on traditional brainstorming methods; let social media data guide your creative direction [7:51]. 3. Embrace Data-Driven Insights ([21:28, 23:48]): Lesson: Utilize the wealth of data available from social media platforms to refine your strategy and understand what resonates with your audience. Timestamps: 21:28 (analyzing platform-specific data), 23:48 (using insights to reach new consumer segments) Why: Data reveals which formats, messaging, and visuals perform best on each platform [21:50]. This insight can help you tailor your content, identify new audience segments, and optimize your overall marketing spend [23:54]. 4. Adapt to the Changing Landscape ([3:47, 9:03, 19:29]): Lesson: The marketing world is evolving rapidly. Stay ahead of the curve by embracing new platforms, experimenting with emerging trends, and challenging outdated practices. Timestamps: 3:47 (abandoning outdated "Brands Grow 1991" mentality), 9:03 (younger brands are more intuitive with social), 19:29 (luxury brands need to adapt to modern social trends) Why: Clinging to traditional methods will lead to stagnation and missed opportunities [3:53]. Younger generations are setting new standards for engagement and relevance; learn from their approaches [8:44]. 5. Think Like a Day Trader ([28:26]): Lesson: The digital marketing landscape is dynamic and fast-paced. Be nimble, make quick decisions based on data, and constantly adjust your strategies. Timestamp: 28:26 (referencing his book "12 and a Half") Why: Algorithms, trends, and consumer behavior change constantly. Success requires staying informed, adapting quickly, and capitalizing on emerging opportunities [28:32]. Bonus Tip: Invest in NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) marketing, but approach it strategically and leverage expert guidance [27:00, 28:50]. NIL for influences is the next Wild West. These are just some of the key lessons Gary Vee emphasizes for marketing success in the digital age. By focusing on organic social, data-driven insights, and constant adaptation, you can build brands that resonate and thrive in today's dynamic landscape.

Gary, it's been quite a while since ive consumed your content, though I ways respect your story and continued hustle. I happened across this video and notice the engagement on here isnt what i might have expected several years ago, though i don't think YT was always your best platform to reach, in my humble opinion. My question if you see this is, is there ever a point for those doing multiple platforms who have been successful to ever step away from one to target others more deeply, or is it just a ride it out thing? Sorry i havent been very engaged, glad to see your face again, stay well and happy holidays.

Gary went woke. He endorsed Biden and has turned his page into zoom calls with diversity guests not the best guests. He peaked in 2016-2019

I just want the mango gummy video .. I can’t argue with facts! There is a magic to it ! HOWEVER there is no creative in this video - it’s an interesting product on its own. What is creative about this video ? It’s effortless, and not an add, that what makes it good. And this girl - she has a ton of videos exactly the same - with much less views - so it’s like once in a lifetime something clicked and that’s it. It’s the algo controlling human behavior… it raises many questions. I’m overwhelmed 😂

Like l've said a million times, and I'll say it again: make a video about someone who is Trans and works at McDonald's with only a high school diploma. Imagine this person juggling 40 or 50 hours a week at their job, handling family responsibilities, and still finding time to become a social media superstar. Despite the odds, they turn into a massive influencer and end up a millionaire. It's the ultimate underdog story-a fast-food worker who goes from flipping burgers to making bank, showing everyone that no matter where you start, you can reach the top!
@SheriNevala19 күн бұрын
The fact that he was a trans I wouldn't put that on it.I know that's what people like but someone may feel its intrusive I do not want to know that about the person.Just saying Not judging Have a great day!

I hear you. Maybe that person leaves out that information in their story, or maybe they do include it. As I understand what you're saying, I understand your point of view. I would like to thank you for leaving a comment, I hope you have a wonderful day. ☑️

What's going on with the social media of Nutter Butter?????😮😮😮
@paolabueso26 күн бұрын
Would love to hear Gary talk about this! I wonder if their Tik Tok strategy is actually generating more sales for their Nutter Butter cookie. The Tik Tok videos which I’m guessing appeal to skibidi toilet iPad kids and adult swim fans are so different from their former wholesome cookie image TV ads that appealed more to moms. It’s a huge branding change. Super strange and curious strategy at the same time.

First time watcher so excuse my brainlessness. What is "$6m organic marketing"? What constitutes organic?? I thought organic just meant natural and "FREE"

It’s free to post organic - however it takes time and energy and people on the payroll to create it …. Nothing is really free - that’s why they say “no free meals” it lunch or something like that :)

ok so how do i go from 5 views to millions of views by people who would love what i do.. people who love great songs by people like Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd when i write songs about how tough life can be when i don't want to be a brand in a world of chasing views??
