Mam I want to perform a solo kathak dance performance in my college... It is my huge wish but mam I am confused between song selection and costumes also mam I am a good dancer still I have to practice and improve my dance but I do not have any mirror.. And mam I am also feeling shy and nervous.. Mam please guide me 🙏🙏🙏

Dear u must perform, don't let anything lower ur enthusiasm to perform . If u dnt hv a mirror , u can record ur dance video by keeping the phone on a table or stable surface ,n watch the video n improve by seeing the video . U may delete the video n reshoot . For kathak performance, u can choose an indo western song , like western song in classical mix . Eg. Shape of u (classical mix) For costume, always opt for costume which is comfortable to dance in n ur movements can be seen in them Eg. Anarkali / dhoti pants with top n jacket

White silver combination anarkali or ghagra top .. do wear shiny hand n hair accessories .. to highlight ur movements . I suggested white n silver coz it is the colour of purity n also resembles the moon . Set a good choreography n work on ur expressions. Practice wel in front of the mirror . All the very best 👍🙂 ... I would love to hear from u abt the results . Don't think much abt the results ,just focus on expressing urself through ur dance n enjoy,have fun 😊

Nice song . For costume U can wear anarkali or lehenga . N do practice core exercises like plank , side plank . It wil help you enhance your performance by improving the quality n finishing of ur steps
