@@ofsushi8666 the map has a lot of open sight lines, and a lot of range heroes such as widowmaker, Sigma, and ashe thrive on this map. Due to the lack of cover, and the difficult to dive terrain, doom is very hard to play on this map.

@@chiefsiko3842 I think doom is actually decent on this map. Very difficult yes, but his superslam is actually really good into widows and longer range heroes. Theres a lot of high ground with tight corridors on 3rd point that are great

its bad at high levels. with the long sightlines, this map is highly considered as poke team compositions only. if you watch any pros play, it's probably going to be Sigma almost 80% of the time, with a Widow/Hanzo, some other hitscan, and Baptiste/Illari/Zenyatta. but, we're commoners so we can probably play anything cuz its a lot easier to punish when people are bad!!

Unless they add a new map that is even worse for Doom than Circuit Royale, I’d say yes, Circuit Royale is a certified hard-counter map to Doom. So Doom haters ADMIRE this map (to say the least) when a there’s a Doom against them, they just be like: “Throw a planet at me? I’ll throw it back!”

Going for the backline immidiately would destroy you, you're waiting for enemy team to waste cooldowns. Plus distracting and disrupting the tank from playing and enemy dps is nice because then your dps can cook.
