One thing that I wondered about was... having de-humidifiers installed into the boat (like aircon, heating, etc.) as part of the build. If you had solar panels it might even-be enough to keep them going on their own even in dull British winters if you're running no other hotel load. But without that some kind of shore power input option. Could run the de-humidifiers over the winter without needing to lug separate units in and out every season. For that matter when things are just generally "UK damp" in Spring and Autumn could run them before full winterisation to make sure everything down below is bone dry. As for ventilation, professional fans on timers are a joy here - I know that from indoor farming to setting up boot-drying rooms for hikers. Circulation of warmed-up air that is to go through the dehumidifiers.... works a treat.

Love Jon Mendez - the old ‘leaving the duvet on the engine’ line is probably an all time favourite! As ever, love the big man but would have been good to have in sept/oct. Yet appreciate all the free content you guys share so thanks and happy new year

Good video, but if you leave a porthole/window open your dehumidifier is effectively trying to dry the whole world. It’s either seal the boat up, and dehumidify, or ventilate. You can’t do both.
