I was wondering if I use the hand pump method, can I turn pump on for about 10 to 15 seconds to purge any left over water out of pump before adding antifreeze.

When you access the water pump, there’s a switch to change it to suction instead of pump. So you’d drain all your water, open the low-point drains, and check the gauge to make sure they’re all empty. Once you've done this, flip the switch on the water pump, take your jug of antifreeze, put the hose coming from the water pump into the jug, and turn it on. While it’s running the antifreeze, open each water faucet until pink starts coming through, and then turn everything off.

Question??? Since the toilet bowl has NO water in it ..will the flush seal be OK....like does the seal need lubrication???? Thank you in advanced !!!

Yours should have water ours doesn't because its already winterized.

Confused. When you're using the hand pump to pump the anti-freeze into the fresh water inlet, doesn't the fluid go into the tank? How does the anti-freeze get into the water lines?

Yes it does go into the tank. You want it in the fresh water tank to protect it also you want to turn on your faucets and showers from the highest point of the RV down so it will cycle through.

Do you need antifreeze if you empty the tanks and lines? Or is the antifreeze if you don't empty the tanks?
