I’m not gunna lie but it’s not too broken in all honesty of course it is broken on scorched mainly because it’s a new map and some people don’t know how to build to prevent this but in reality on already established servers this really isn’t a issue with some of the tower builds if the tower is built right then any tame dropped with a cart is dead in the air before it can hit your tower

The new items work really well, they help create new effective raiding strategies. People need to stop with the nerf culture bad sportsmanship idea that anything that works really well is broken. Its not you are just a bad sport. Learn the new things and use them too, from understanding how they work you can come up with counter strategies. This can happen endlessly in ark potentially with each new thing added. So stop using broken to describe things that work very well. Its confusing and stupid. If the word broke was being used ironically to describe something that works well that would be different. But its used in the context of 'brakes game balance' when in no way does it, it just adds new effective strategies and you just got bitter they worked well on you and you have to make a new base. I like to have everything in the game and to keep adding more to it because that variety is what makes ark interesting and gives it much more creative scope. I noticed that in the old ark on unofficial, people who took features out of the game, like imprisoning people, for two reasons. One: Because they were salty about this feature. Two: hackers were using a feature to mesh. Instead of simply taking things out because they are abused, the devs should put more effort and time into making it impossible to move into the mesh instead of making it a killzone and doing it inaccurately. In ASA you can tell how little time they spent mapping the mesh with instant kill and there are many areas where the instant mesh kill isn't even in the mesh. Its above it. Especially around metal mountain, and then there is little lake on the western side of the swamp, south of it where its edge will kill you. Im sure that there are even more kill zones outside of mesh that have yet to be found. But pumping the game out as quick as possible is better for short term profits, although it kills the longevity and long term profits, possibly totally if it results in the game player base dying. Strangeslayer is 100% right in saying its the code thats broken because they release it all too quickly without spending enough time debugging and testing. Oh and not to mention the possible sabotage of the code by the old ark devs as well as all the hackers in ark who basically ruin the game and have no sportsmanship, driving the unoffocial servers to remove features and limit the game more. This is why we cannot have nice things.

I reckon there is something wrong with the unofficial servers in Ark either their quality or the old ark team is DDOSSING them all. Also in unofficial they don't tell you the region name. Im in the oceania region in Australia and I have yet to find an unnofficial server below 200 ping. Even the ones that have OC in their name. So Ive been playing official oceania but its still too slow even though ASA harvesting is a bit quicker than ASE official its still like the marketing team came in, shot themselves in the foot again. All they had to do was make harvesting and progressing much faster and people would play official all the time. But they think backwards and want to entrap people into playing long by making the game slow rather than enjoyable and accessable to all. Instead the advantage of those who have been their longer makes it almost impossible for someone just starting to build up. I played ASE unofficial for 6 years, only played official for 3 months. Its just far too slow and unbalanced. Unbalanced in that unless you are on small tribes, there is always some massive alpha tribe that basically lets no one build up and kills the server. Even small tribes is unbalanced like that to a degree. Game processes should not take so much time in real life, its not going to make people play longer it will drive them away. I much more enjoy fiber where I can build a 2000 turret underwater tek base in about 36 hrs of real time while others are also doing the same so you can have multiple alphas and MUCH MUCH larger raids than official. I can have bases last for 2-3 months on unofficial. On official as soon as you go to metal without even any turrets someone who has been living in the upload with their tek level characters and stored soakers doesn't even have a base to raid and yet will raid people who are just starting and no where near their level all for loot they wont even use. All that does is drive people off official. What I really wanted was official to be much faster because while I love fiber, it does just make you skip straight to tek. Whereas it would have been good to have made official probably about 10 times faster then it is so people could use every part of the game in their progress but progress fast enough that everyone can compete much closer on the same level regardless if they were solo or not or when they started playing on the server.

I'm not a PvP player but every time something new is released its automatically classed as game breaking, I thought the whole idea of PvP is to come up with new metas to raid and then new ideas to come up with to combat them. It's only game breaking until you can defend against just because no one has come up with an idea yet doesn't mean its breaking, as a PvP player instead of bitching about it being game breaking put in loads of effort in GM mode and see if you can come with a solution on combating it then post a video on it. I'm not hater far from it and I'm not a troll either it just seems when something gets released its game breaking for PvP, the only solution I can see is for WC to remove all the packs from PvP servers for then a new game breaking meta to become popular. Either way there's always going to be a new meta until someone comes up with a new defence against it. Making heavis damage structures is just a way of making platform structures useless in raiding, and removing another effective strategy from the game and all the counters to it. Making the game more boring but soothing those who are bitter about things in the game that worked well and destroyed their base. What they should work on is the mesh on platform structures so that they can't penetrate walls. But instead they just release everything to quickly and have yet to even work on that let alone the new game and its mesh and maps which are overkill and get you outiside of the mesh as well. If they just made the mesh unenterable they wouldn't need to have a kill zone in it. And the mapping either way will require the same amount of work.

Outside bases do not survive in pvp. You can completely erase the golem and oasisaur fromt he game im gonne use a stego to walk another player to your base and blow it up or any other soaker. Dont have soakers well ever heard of a quetz. And then there is other ways too

You could also make it where tames can’t be stolen or cryo pods. Literally that is the most important thing in this game. Stop playing asa. Ark is corrupt and it has been a long time coming. I get it, I have played ark since 2017. I’ve been through most map launches and even remember when a prim long neck caused 20 c4 damage in a bug. However, this game has be some a broken scam, money goes in, and more broken things come out. Boycott, stoppppp giving them money

For the average player, that's definitely viable, but for a content creator whose channel is mostly ark at this point, I can not do that. It would be nice to have someone as a d3dicated rester test pvp before it's released.

I get that you're a pvp player... but the game is not balanced around pvp. They don't NEED to have pvp players test their content. They can make the changes after the release the content. Pvp players a drop in the bucket. I hope they make fixes for your environment, but ark pvp has always sucked anyways. This is just the current "meta" of suck. Enjoy it while it lasts.
