Excellent video Ian. This will be so useful when I wire up my dash.

Looking good! When you finish the electrics for the car ensure that your ground points are well secured or you will be haunted by Lucas, the Prince of Darkness 😅

Thank you. I'm aiming to avoid the "off, flicker, smoke" settings often associated with Lucas!!

Yet another good video, Ian. Brought back memories of when I finished my dashboard nearly two years ago. I like how you handled the mistaken connections on the turn signal switch. How did you go about determining it was not the original switch and where did it come from?

Thank you sir! With regards to the signal light switch I compared what I had, which is the one that came with the car, to photos of the correct one in the Moss and AH Spares catalogues. Mine appears to have quite a few more connectors on it but after testing it appears it should work. We'll find out soon enough!

Is there a special way to get the tiny light bulbs out of the sockets? I need to check my charge warning lamp

With my dash there are two types of bulb. One is a regular thread in type and the other type has the two little prongs on the side for what I call a push and turn installation.

What type and thread screws did the use in the factory for installing the steering cone?

Hello Pascal. They are #6x5/16" (BMC part number PMZ0205). Described as "raised countersunk pointed". If you send me an e-mail at econoboxgarage@gmail.com I can send you some more information.
