you need way more details in your videos bro, good video and all but the lack of info is crazy didn't say what wires go to where, what amps to use and if you need a separate amp if you're running subs. you gotta realize majority of the people watching this have no idea on wtf theyre doing lol they might find the title misleading.

I have an 8 pin plug running 2 10's a horn and 2 tweeters. My horn cuts in and out and distorting the music. I think it might be a plug issue or a connection with the horn. What do you think?

how would i wire my 2 tweeters and 2 midbass? since i’m not using a horn?

Great video thanks a lot
@teammember96223 жыл бұрын
Even though i watch the video i don't fully understand. Are the two tweeters wired together? If yes wouldn't it change how the tweeter sound because of the capacitor on them probably interfering with each other.
@teamimperium97543 жыл бұрын
Yes there connected together, however when the capacitor is applied it changes the resistance which then allow the tweeters to play at a higher frequency than the compression driver
@teammember96223 жыл бұрын
@@teamimperium9754 ok thanks.

so you connect the horn straight to the amp ? wont that burn the horn with a straight connection . wouldn't it be better to connect negative to positive and positive to negative ?
@teamimperium97543 жыл бұрын
The horn can be connected directly to the amp and it will play fine, however u just got to make sure that your crossover is eliminating any frequency below 100hz and adjust the gain levels accordingly on the amp and you will get a perfect horn and tweeter experience

Kicker told me if i added speakers and horns to my sealed enclosure. It would blow them out if they did not have their own enclosure inside the box.
@teamimperium97548 ай бұрын
First you would have to decide what type of enhancement do you need for your current setup. This means do you want to add more bass to your setup or more vocals or even both. The setup in this video is in regards to enhancing your vocals only. If doing a bass enhancement on your setup then yes the subs would have to be in a speaker box of its own…. Hope that helps

I’m doing mine (2 midrange and 2 tweeters) and want to know how you would wire them all so the total impedance would be 4 ohms .. and what ohm speakers would be needed ... it’s gonna be on one channel (bridged)
@teamimperium97543 жыл бұрын
Hey @Oceanz Made It if you get two 8 ohms speakers and wire them in parallel it would be 4 ohms
@OceanzMadeIt3 жыл бұрын
@@teamimperium9754 I know that part but for 4 speakers? How do you wire 4 speakers to get 4ohms final?
@firestick4394 Жыл бұрын
@@OceanzMadeItIf the 2 midrange speakers are 8 ohm connect together in parallel wiring for a 4 ohm load. If the tweeters are also 8ohm then connecting them parallel would be a 4 ohm load. Don’t use tweeters and midrange on a single channel together because it will cause the tweeters to play midrange frequency’s including midbass which will cause the tweeter to be messed up and burnt.
@firestick4394 Жыл бұрын
You wouldn’t be able to set the crossover individually on the midrange speakers and tweeters.

Facts. Every video on KZbin shows the same thing. Wiring everything together. But they never show what amp they use. How to wire it to the amp with the Speakon cable and where to tap into to get signal to play on the speakers

What size speaker wire do you use?

Can you make a video on the amp wiring for this. Cause I’m pretty sure just like a subwoofer, that you’ll need to also get a signal from the speakers in the car to play the notes. Unless you literally just use a separate amp

Do you have the speakers and the tweeters connected together or your running a separate amp for the tweeters
@teamimperium97543 жыл бұрын
The speakers/woofers are on a separate amp... however the compression driver/horn is connected together with the tweeters... and all you may need to do is to include a capacitor on the tweeters and it will raise the frequency level allowing the tweeters to play at a higher hertz
