Thank you Louie for sharing this. I’m restoring a 67 Firebird and have removed all of the wiring and I’ve been searching for instructions on replacing everything. I really appreciate your knowledge on this and I will definitely be looking forward to replacing it when the time comes . My restoration has been a journey and have learned much from Jon at Vinyl Village Garage and Brian at Arrowhead Garage. Brian passed on the wiring diagram to me for the 67 Firebird in the past. You did great explaining and I’m glad to be able to follow your advice and your videos. Thank you !

Really good video! I have a 67 LeMans, but I sure it's pretty much the same. If you know? Should I pull my harness out and connect everything to the dash and them put the harness back with the dash? Thanks, Ron

Hello Ron, and thank you for watching I Appreciate your support. I never did a Pontiac Lemans but I did a 67 GTO. You could take everything apart. Remove all your wiring harness. First clean anything you're going to do to the car and re. Install The Wire harness. Once you are done I did it to the GTO and had no issues.

Question: why not order a New UPDATED OEM complete harness? Eastwood has modernized harness..Alittle pricey ..like 800$

What is this custom cable wiring you mention at the beginning? Is it tinned boat cable?

Yes .....it's welding cables 2 gauge they have much more of a heat resistant and are more flexible I order the custom made any time. I am putting a car together. Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment
