The Flipsky 75450 can be used with Encoders. You will need to do some small changes on the PCB and connect it a bit differently. I did that and it works 👍🏻

Do you need to have water in the lines? I have one that will see max of 200 battery amps and 500amp phase on my pitbike. I understand that it has temp sensors inside but will having no water cause hot spots on the esc? Just want to know before I start sending this thing

I'm running mine at 200 battery and 450 phase, no watercooling and no issues with temps so far!

I've never used one personally, and since I sell my own fardriver kits I'm always gonna recommend my own stuff. But that being said vesc based controllers are awesome, just make sure the noisy cricket supports the b2 motor!

@ they say they do but been wanting to support your channel in some way. With that being said what about regen does the fardriver support that? I’m big on regen since it helps keep my battery voltage up with all the hills around me

@@MitchyToroyeah fardriver is so customizable. Regen can be controlled through a switch or throttle release, and you can set how many amps it will regenerate back to the battery, and how much force the regen will slow you down with. Ive also seen people hookup the regen with their brake switch, and it activates simultaneously with the brakes

Nice!! I have the FSESC 75350 on my Jetson Bolt/Kugoo Kirin with 5kw bdlc rear hub off AliExpress. Looking to upgrade to QS 8kw hopefully... I noticed you don't use water cooling either... Flipsky told me directly under their video post on KZbin that these controllers are not fit for Ebike purposes🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️😅...💁🏾‍♂️🏍️

Bet that thing runs awesome! Yeah no cooling. I'm barely touching ⅓ of what the controller can handle, I don't think I've seen it go over 40c yet. Still haven't really rode it hard yet though! No way! 😆 that's wierd they said that. They commented on one of my shorts awhile back about the 75450 saying they were excited to see it running on my mototec!

@EmxBrandon Yup! Same.. only about 37c and ⅓.. it's runs ok but struggles low torque if I full throttle... Some type of cut out/motor slipping problem that I could never figure out.. same with previous 3kw.. but it runs smooth with gradual acceleration & once it's spinning..my motor also runs hot after long runs or if I set phase 250-350A😅. I think I have used u or another's KZbin's tuning as guidance.. but still don't know what's going most times.. all I know it's running ok now for a while 😅.. really need to do a vid. Look forward to your next upload. Ps. Just checked the flipsky comment (about a yr ago). I think because I told them I was using only 60A battery at the time.. now I have 120-130A continuous (16s 4p 63v)
