How to wire a two-way light switch.

I know there's plenty of different ways to wire a light switch.
But this is the way I've been taught how to do a 2 way. I thought I'd share that with you guys. There will be people with different opinions on how to go about it.
Just remember, if you're doing this, I recommend using an electrician and be safe.

Brilliant!!! Had a dimmer switch, wanted to replace it with a single switch. I had removed the dimmer and the wiring wondering why I had so many wires x 9. Then realised it was a two switch set up and couldn't remember where the wires came from. Simple video to follow and sorted first time. thanks for the great video.

If the control and feed wire are at the same switch, I personally match all 3 cores of the strap to both switches and put the feed into terminal 1 and the control into terminal 2. That frees up the loop for the neutral. If the feed is at 1 switch and the control at the other then use only 2 cores of the strap in 1 and 2, the feed in the common by itself at 1 switch and the control in the common by itself at the other switch.
