ItKindaWorks how to use a 5 wire servo with arduino
@oldmancomedies7 жыл бұрын
Can you use an ESP8266 to control a servo? On another note, your videos are great and I really appreciate you making them.

Do you mind tell me which adruno board you used?

can you explain about 1 ms = 0 degree, 2 ms = 180 degree, and between ? it probably in the library. but i don't get it how you can set it in to the position you want. example: 43 degree

Hello. So i have a 1/24 mustang that im trying to make rc. i got a crappy chinese reseiver (small enough to fit so itll be fine,) so... it has 2 wires for engine, it works, it has 2 wires for engine 2 ("servo" but not really) so i already soldered out engine 2 and the electronics are nearly ready so. Can i wire the servo to the reseiver (engine 2s place) positeve to positive and negative to negative? will it work? ( engine 2 was there i tried moving the control stick and it moved both ways, so i soldered the motor off.) so i know if i had a 50$ receiver/transmiter it would be as easy as just to plug it in but i have old receiver from old toy rc car. so do i need the white wire then????

I have a 5 wire servo and I have a receiver that takes 3 wires from a servo, how can I change the wires from the 5 lead servo to make it go into my receiver that uses 3 wires? thanks

What motor do you think I should use for a tracked robot? Is DC better than Continuous Rotation Servo? Thank you!
@ItKindaWorks7 жыл бұрын
It somewhat depends. How fast do you want it to go? DC for speed but continuous rotation for more accuracy.

ItKindaWorks I am really concerned about its speed, I just want it to provide enough torque to climb stairs. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Can we connect 16 servo motors with a single bread board
@ItKindaWorks5 жыл бұрын
probably but that seems like a large mess of wires just waiting to accidentally be pulled out

Why are you using delay() in your code instead of millis()? As you know delay() stops ALL processing so it is possible to miss an event such as a button being pushed or a sensor's activity. Millis() won't do that because it waits based on units of time. From what I have been seeing recently, the use of delay() is now being looked upon as bad coding yet it is all over the Arduino code sample libraries.
