someone tried to do the same thing to me. I put a hidden kill switch under my seat. they tried and I heard them pulling it over ran outside and confronted those dumbasses told them next time it's a .45 in the chest.... they never came back

So after hooking up the new kill switch, you still have to turn the predator kill switch to ON for the engine to start? Basically...you need both switches to be ON to start the motor but you can kill the engine with the new switch only?

yes, both switches have to be on for the engine to run. If one is off it won't run. I really like it that way cause someone tried to steal my bike and I had both turned off and he couldn't figure out how to start it. then that gave me enough time to get outside and deal with that dumbass. thanks for watching.

Well done! Followed your steps and my colman mini's new predator 224 engine kill switch now works, What about the headlight? Two yellow wires hanging there. Any idea where to connect them to the predator engine so my headlight will power up??

I bought a kill switch. But the length is not long enough. What do I do to lengthened it to make it long enough. What type of wire do I need ?

@Israel Ramirez the correct size wire is 18-gauge automotive wire. (here's a link for that) www.ebay.com/itm/302407904711 then you will need some butt connectors. these are the correct size (click on link) www.ebay.com/itm/222239205198 then you will need to crimp the butt connectors here's the crimper I use (click on link) www.ebay.com/itm/392945918225 after you have all the items you need. cut the wires where you want to and leave enough room for the butt connector to splice in. then strip the wires. and connect the butt connectors and wires together. then use the crimper to crimp down the butt connectors so the wires stay inside and are secured together.

yes, the ground definitely matters your kill switch won't work at all if the ground Ain't hooked up. The gas tank mount is the best/easiest place to hook it up (as seen in video). You can hook it up in other places as long as it is a metal surface.
