Excellent video and very informative. You made it look so easy! What type of briolette did you use? (Gemstone or glass etc)? They’re very beautiful.

Very informative, thank you. However, do you need to have any tension when wrapping in this manner? My first tries have all been with the wire just moving about and losing its shape completely.

Hi Jessica! I want to attach a briolette to a jump ring using some silk thread. What's the most secure and professional looking way to do this?

I love the tutorial you made, every step is very well showed and your explanation very clear to follow. This was my first attempt on wire wrapping a briolet. For practicing I used a 0.6mm brass wire and I found it quit hard to do, my guess is that the brass wire is more hard than gold filled wire. I also really want to learn how to make the earrings you show as an example with the small beads on top. Do you also have a tutorial on that? Thank you for teaching us xx
@JewellersAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Yes, brass wire will be a little harder to work with. I'm afraid I don't have a tutorial for those particular earrings, but I will take note for future tutorials x

The video doesn't state/demonstrate how you ensure that the loop is the identical height above each briolette, as earrings require. How does one ensure this?
@JewellersAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ari, Thank you for your comment. If you hold each of the earrings in the same place on your round nose pliers this should ensure that these are the same size 🥰 x
@aricohn53164 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the demonstration, but please re-shoot it with the videographer zooming in at more places in the demonstration, e.g., bringing the wire up from the bottom of the wrap to just under the loop for the final two loops.

It does not relate to your fine explanation and well filmed tutorial: you sound exactly like Emily Blunt, the actress. I kept wondering "is this Emily Blunt showing us her expertise in jewellery making?"
@Aliuk996 жыл бұрын
What a horrible and very rude thing to say. How dare you say that Jessica sounds like this Emily Blunt (whoever she is?). why don't you leave Jessica alone. and stop saying rude thing about people, you horrible person.
@yessibee52363 жыл бұрын
Aww she does sound like her with that beautiful accent! And that’s such a compliment, Emily Blunt is a lovely actress 😊
