Wait, I have to confirm one thing. In the Kaplan exam kit, there are past papers given with model answers. Those answers go on for quite a bit and explain all aspects of the answer with reference to standards etc. I have been trying to replicate those answers while practicing writing. So is it alright if I really write 4 short sentences with keywords in my answer instead of including all kinds of points about calculations? Because this answer is wildly different to what I would see in a Kaplan answer kit.

You calculated goodwill using table in word processor can we calculate good will in excel sheet and just give a reference in word processing sheet..

have a qst about the net asset taken in the good will calculation why doesnt consider the profit of 8 month

Net assets at acquistion will include the profits made up to the date of acquistion. Profits made after do make net assets but these by their nature are not there are acquistion

What I have shown you - is what I can achieve in the time allowed and using the exam software. I have put myself in your shoes. Of course given time and reflection it is possible to prepare a neater. longer, more detailed answer - but the whole point of the exercise is to be real! #realityversusinstagram
