I was taught that when u let the triaxle down, dont press the brakes until the airbags fully fill roughly 10-20 secs, can cause extra wear & tear on the tire. But very valuable info I’ve been 🙏🏿💪🏿

Yes thats good info. Mines go down in about 8-10 secs. So it varies Ive seen some take 25 secs to fully get down

I've driven sleeper straight trucks, 53'dry vans, reefers , buses, tow trucks, van lowboy 48', and 3 car haul trailers. I have an opportunity to try dumb trucks hopefully I like it if I decide. This was the best and most informative video I have found about this. I appreciate you making this my man. I'm young and green, just got my triaxle built and just today hauled my first load, 20ton of gravel. And oh. My. God I had a time working that drop axle. Trying to turn before its up all the way getting pushed forward having to stop and slap it in reverse real fast and straight up... I gotta give it for time to come up. Those tires will generally slide a little when you turn and wear tires faster and I have seen guys pop that axle while turning. We run the psi at 50
