Hey Alex! Would you be open to suggestions regarding new Outlook VBA videos? I myself have worked on quite a few things in Outlook VBA and am still trying to improve my automation scripts. Let me know and I will happily describe what I found useful and what the challenges were

@@SigmaCoding , Hello, I'm Brazilian, I saw your video I thought it was very good, I have a suggestion. I receive multiple emails from multiple addresses. I created rules to direct them to folders, but as there are several there is not enough space for so many rules. 1 - When receiving an email 2 - read who sent the email 3 - create a folder with the name after @, if there is already a folder do nothing 4 - Send a backup copy for this email inside that folder. 5 - mark the email in some way to know that the macro has processed it. This is because it is annoying to be dragging the incoming emails to the folders with the names manually.

Hi, The way you describe the things is really nice. Can you please help me in my objective? Everyone knows well about the volume of an Outlook database i.e. a .PST file, which usually reach into GBs. In case we backup these files, they create trouble in this process when the destination is placed in a location on WAN. Therefore we have to take their backup by visiting that site physically and attach some backup media with that particular computer. I thought a way for doing this opening same outlook folders from both source and destination at the same time and transfer only new items in destination outlook folders (incremental). Your valuable feedback would be highly appreciated

Access VBA seems to round the MailItem.DateReceived, seems to round up the seconds. Any idea how to prevent that rounding behavior? Code is something like Format(Second(MailItem.ReceivedTime), "ss"). I've imported an outlook folder via Access and all but the seconds match. Sometimes the seconds match, but not always. Seems to be some rounding happening with .ReceivedTime property. Any advice?

Hello Alex, I was wondering if you knew how to create a VBA code that edits already existing tasks in outlook? Replacing is fine if that is possible too. Thanks in Advance.

Hi, is there a way to work a specific email when clicking on the mail item in your inbox?
@SigmaCoding3 жыл бұрын
You would have to query a specific email. Basically doing a search but you wouldn't be selecting it through a click.
